touch /forcefsck
reboot
what does that do?
touch /forcefsck
reboot
Does a file system check when you reboot.
Edit: If it’s bad, you may need to push ‘y’ on the console a couple of times. Don’t do this if you’re not able to access the console of the machine.
after it does it does it boot back to freepbx
Yes, but read my edit above.
Already ran it lol I can go to the machine its only down the street lol
I will post after I stand in front of it
Thanks for the help
I am here and it it is at the login screen
i got it… I moved the files in /var/spool/asterisk/monitor and in voicemail. Then ran amportal chown then start
and asterisk starts.
I did notice on the Green boot screen there are 2 options.
SMZ 6.5 and 6.6
s
I figured out why exactly is complaing about those files it is beause one file is 4,164,058 KB
Yeah someone called into your voicemail and sat there hoping to rack up charges with your carrier.
Yea there was another one that was 6GB. This box only had call recording for a 1 year or so then we stopped recording.
We shall see how it works after this.
Thanks for all the help guys.
I have had issues upgrading before but nothing like this. Crazy how this was causing asterisk not to start.
Also Andrew why is there two options on the boot menu 6.5 and 6.6
That’s just the way it is. If something traumatichappened to your current kernel, you could boot from the old one to fix things.
