401 unauthorized only when using the server domain name for endpoint registration

I have a new FreePBX build. The trunks and extensions are built on PJSIP. The service provider is Twilio. I am trying to use the host name I set in System Admin to register my soft client. When using the host name when calling out to the PSTN I immediately get a 401 error. This only happens when using the domain name and not the IP. When I use the IP it works fine, no 401.

Oddly enough when I call another extension that isn’t registered with voicemail configured I get the voicemail greeting. The 401 is only on outbound to the PSTN.
