I am using FreePBX. I have two types of phone Polycom VVX400 and Cisco SPA525G2. I make a Soft key for “Park” on each phone. Which is simply a speed dial for my parking lot ‘700’, with slots 701-708 for parking. On the Polycom phone everything works just fine. But when I try to park on the Cisco phone it will successfully park the caller but it won’t announce the parking slot. The digits are clearly playing in the asterisk though. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.
Try setting the speed dial to either 700# or ##700#
I was able to resolve the issue just this morning. This Cisco phone has an option under the “SIP” tab called “Keep Referee When REFER Failed”. Setting this to YES allowed me to hear the parking lot announcement. Thank you though!!!
