i need to callerid lookup cyrillic charset in mysql
1-table i created alreasy in utf8 charset
2-in cid lookup config in freepbx Character Set: utf8
MYSQL(Connect connid localhost freepbxuser xxxxxxx asterisk utf8)
3-from phpMyadmin i can see names in right format
BUT i got names like ??? ??? when have incoming calls
I think you will find this is a phone issue. This was discussed briefly at FreePBX World and most phones don’t actually support UTF8.

Yeah this sounds like a phone issue for sure based on what’s listed above. I don’t know which manufacturer this is but there’s really only a few that support UTF8 well.
For phones with UTF8 support look at recent color LCD Snoms, Polycom, Yealink, etc.

already try to get readable name in 3xc phone (soft phone) --no success
