Cannot access /var/lib/asterisk/sounds/custom

Hi,
I am unable to install the ‘Recordings’ module. When I do I get the following error in the Freepbx web page:-

I can not access the directory /var/lib/asterisk/sounds/custom/. Please make sure that it exists, and is writable by the web server.

This is with Freepbx 2.1.3, even though the web page of my server still says 2.1.2 ?

Most othger things seem to be working fine now.
I have checked permissions on /var/lib/asterisk/sounds/custom :-

drwxrwxr-x 2 asterisk asterisk 21 Nov 12 18:01 custom

This is an old topic, but as it would be helpful for a lot of people, I posting a solution.

This thing happens because /var/lib/asterisk/sounds/custom must have specific permissions, 771. If you put 700, 755, 775 or even 777, it won work.

To fix this and any other permissions problem you would be having on FreePBX or Asterisk, just use the amportal script, this way?

   #  amportal  chown
