Broke the admin login

It seems like I have somehow broken the admin login. After trying to change the admin user name the logins fail. I am able to login when I use the amportal a u but none of the admin account changes I have made seem to work including adding new users and trying to rename the old user back to the original name. Right now the only way I can login is to use the “amportal a u” method.

What else can I try? Is there something in the database I should look at?

It looks like the system did not like the passwords I was attempting to use. Simplifying the passwords cleared the problem.
