Is there a way to announce the name of the person the caller has dialed when they use the directory? It currently only announces the extension number. I would like it to reference the name recorded from that extensions voicemail. Is this possible?

I have a directory setup to announce the voicemail recorded name when an extension is dialed in the directory. I will check our settings and get back to you
Under Directory --> Directory Extensions --> Name on Announcement is set to “Voicemail Greeting”
But for it to work you have to actually have a “name” recording for the mailbox. The name is a different option than the unavailable message.
Thanks for the reply. I got it to work. It looks like if you have “announce extension” it will just announce the extension and not the name.
