Your call cannot be completed as dialed but trunk line is on?

Nick,

After re-testing it The out going calls are working fine but I can not receive any calls ?

What did I do ?

Did this ever work?

This time we need to take a look at your inbound route(s)…

Before you do however, please make sure that xmpp problem is solved by erasing those files and then post your logs when you attempt to call yourself from the outside…

You can modify the phone number a little but don’t overdo it, I was to see if it’s because your inbound route phone number is not written in the right format…

For example, for some of the providers I use I must write my phone number like this

15165551212

and for others like this

5165551212…

It might be something as simple as that…

Good luck and have a nice day!

Nick

Any ideas?

Hi!

Don’t post the log when you reload/restart (it seems to be what you are posting…).

Post the log of when you attempt to call your phone number from the outside (using your cell phone for example…)

That said, you have a problem here:

If it’s the extension which receives the call it will never receive it since you have a bad password for this extension…

Good luck and have a nice day!

Nick

What did you do to those phones?

Did you reprogram them or did you recreate your extensions and forgot to reprogram your phones?

Only you know what happened here…

Good luck and have a nice day!

Nick

This is killing me I am going to wipe my SPA 303 phones again.

No, just recopy the “Secret” under Extensions > General for each extension in your phones…

That said, I hope it doesn’t report a Wrong password for the extension with which you dialed out earlier… If it does and you did nothing then maybe your Raspberry PI SD card corrupted…

Good luck and have a nice day!

Nick

I can only call out but not receive any calls ?

Should I upload the logs again?

Hi!

Have you fixed the password problem by making sure you put the right passwords in the phones?

If you did then call your PBX using your cell phone and show me what it showed when you did that.

Also, did you create any inbound routes?

You definitely need at least one… Is it one for a specific DID (phone number) or a “catch-all” one?

We cannot guess what is happening, we need logs…

It’s now time for me to go to sleep now…

Good luck, goodnight and have a nice day,

Nick

edit: I was writing this as you were posting additional messages…

Hi,

I need the logs when you try to call your PBX from the outside (using your cell phone)…

I need your inbound route(s), not your outbound route…

It’s time for me to go now though…

Good luck, goodnight and have a nice day,

Nick

Check your setting in your providers page again

Are you setup like this

"if you want inbound calls to ring through the sip account set up on your softphone or sip ip phone, you will change the destination on the numbers tab to sip registration- and select from the drop down which of your two sip accounts you want to use. "

This Forum resolve Elastix issues too?

Kind of. Elastix is dead and was (originally) based on FreePBX.

The route to a solution (when coming here for advice) is to do the following:

  1. Backup your information.
  2. Export all of your information to CSV files.
  3. Print out the pertinent screens.
  4. Upgrade to FreePBX 13/14 and start over.

After that, the problems either disappear or we can help.
