Yearly recurring events are not propagated

There’s a topic on this from 2019.
Has this somehow been workarounded?
I noticed this issue recently on my local calendar (15.0.4.21). This creates some problems as every event that is recurring yearly has to be manually created over and over again in subsequent years, which - of course - is prone to errors.

The workaround is to use a time condition.
