Trying to get T5X phones working in FreePBX. Would like to use EPM, but those phones are not shown in either the stable or edge track of EPM release. Are there plans to release the T5X phones in EPM?
If I’ve been following that threads correctly, that would rely on Yealink providing the information about the phone to the Sangoma folks, I suspect. There has been some discussion about this over the past few weeks, you might want to join to folks that are talking to Yealink and see what you can do to get them to come to the table.
I know the provisioning guide has been out since April, the phones for sale everywhere, and our competition is making these phones the “lead” phones. Just want to stay competitive.
We only add phones from certified partners and only when they ask us to based on their contracts with us.
Has there been any movement by Yealink on the T5X phone integration into EPM?
Nope none at all. It’s the same story Everytime they come out with new phones. Even if they decided tomorrow to move forward it would be 2-3 months before it gets in the schedule.
