Yealink is sending us new demo units for the T5x series phones. This includes a T54W, T53W and T57W. How long does it take normally to see these in endpoint?
This is a question for Yealink, they are the ones that initiate the process (or not).

It can very much matter.
That said, you can sometimes do this if you are careful. For example: I use the T40P for the T40G, but I set it to firmware 0.00 and upload the firmware manually to the PBX. But these phones are basically clones. Not every model works that way.
