XLite Doesn't connect for all users

Hi All,

Can anyone tell me why when I set up a new user on my server, and I proceed to set up a softphone, they sometimes connect and sometimes not. I get the 404 error message when it doesn’t connect

David Are the users/extensions on the same internal network or are you connecting remote users?

Assuming your users are using windows, check if the firewall is enabled or not and if enabled, if it is set correctly for x-lite.

And FYI, there isn’t a universal binary version of Xlite for newer intel based Macs… mAC bOOK pRO’S ETC…

Check to make sure that you have the NAT=YES option on instead of NAT=NO. I found that even inside my network I have to have this on in order for the extensions to connect.
