Why are new users automatically created in User Management when I create a new extension, but not deleted when I delete the extension? Shouldn’t there at least be a check mark or a pop up or something that asks if I want to delete the user associated with this extension when I press the delete button for an extension?
Just spent an hour banging my head on the table because the password associated with a new extension would not work in UCP. It was because that user already existed in User Management
.
I would think that selecting “Create New User” with a new password in Extensions and then Submit/Apply would update the password even if the user already existed in User Management but apparently it doesn’t. As far as I can tell, once it’s been created in User Management that is the only place I can change the password and delete the user. This doesn’t seem very intuitive to me.
