What's is "call-transfer-events.php" and Why uses a lot of CPU? Disable?

Hello.
We are using FreePBX 15.0.23.25 on an AWS EC2 with 32 cores and 32 GB of RAM.

We are making around 150+ calls and we noticed a strange CPU consumption in the php “call-transfer-events.php”.

I have not found any information about the functionality of this script. However, we only use the PBX to carry calls between another switchboard and our providers (a kind of proxy, without being one). In short, does anyone know the functionality of this script and if it is possible to disable it (since it consumes a lot of CPU?)

Searching and searching, I understand that it is related to the functionality of transferring the call in real time, a function that we do not need.

Can it be deactivated?
