What settings (bitrate, etc…) should I convert an MP3 file to for me to use it as with an IVR?

Alternatively, upload a recording in any supported asterisk format. Note that if you’re using .wav, (eg, recorded with Microsoft Recorder) the file must be PCM Encoded, 16 Bits, at 8000Hz:

The only thing “that” statement is missing on that page is it needs to be mono if it is wav file if I remember correctly.
