What is the effect of enabling SELINUX?

Quick question, I am going over setting up PBX in new server setup by following below installation procedure.

In system policy, SELINUX is enabled in prepared VM and system admin recommended not to disable it.
I am wondering what the side effect of enabling it, what feature of FreePBX won’t be working.

FreePBX will break along with lots of other things.
