Inbound Routes let me put in a \ for an inbound route - and now I can’t delete it - what is the best way to get rid of it - it doesn’t seem to be affecting operation, but it is annoying.

Nope - 12 - I was surprised it didn’t reject it as invalid.
Got it - used the CLI and a delete statement.
For future, and for anyone else with this issue, you can fix this in the GUI by manually editing the URL to the problem inbound route, by replacing the / character with %2F.
Not an issue in FreePBX 13.
