I need to setup a phone systems for my school. there will be 1 or 2 phone lines and 4 phones.
They have a very recent windows laptop computer and I was thinking of using Nerd Vittles vmware image at least to start with. Later if everything works ok, I’ll donate a P4 that we can put in the attic or somewhere out of the way.
What kind of hardware could I buy that I can connect 2 pots lines and 3 regular phones, For the office phone I have a linksys 940 ethernet connected phone.
I’ve looked at the voipinfo wiki hardware page and am not sure what I need to be looking for.
I think it is 2 fxo and 3 fxs ports, but I don’t find any thing small and cheap like that.
