What happens when "Max Wait Time" is reached in a queue?

I have a client who is concerned that his customers are waiting too long in a call queue. He wants any call that waits in the call queue for 30 minutes to be redirected to his personal cell phone.

I found the “max wait time” parameter in the queue configuration, but I’m not sure what happens when the max wait time is reached. The documentation says “The maximum number of seconds a caller can wait in a queue before being pulled out”.

What happens to a call that is “pulled out”? How can I redirect a call that has been pulled out of the queue to a “Misc Destination”?

When max wait time is exceeded, the caller goes to whatever destination you have set for the queue “Fail over Destination”
