What carriers support PJSIP? I will pay to have trunk configured

Hi. I’ve got FreePBX 14 installed. I switched from 12 to 14 because PJSIP supposed to finally work well. I need multiple phones on the same extension!! I use Vitelity normally but they don’t support it. I’ve looked at Twilio. Below are two articles I found…I will pay someone to install the trunk but first I need to know what providers support it

PJSIP is SIP, why the people are confusing this? PJSIP is just another channel that uses the PJSIP Stack but is still SIP signaling so basically all providers that use SIP should work.

Hello,

We do not support pjsip. You will want to setup sip trunks.

Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.

I confirmed with one of our voice engineers that we do not support it at this time. That may change in the future, but I am not aware of plans for that.

When your provider says pjsip is not supported, that doesn’t mean it won’t work. What it means is they probably haven’t tested and haven’t figured out what the necessary FreePBX settings are to make it work. If you do plan to use pjsip for the trunk, you are on your own, the provider won’t help you.

However, you state you want pjsip for multiple extension contacts, which has nothing to do with the trunk. You can use chan_sip for the the trunk and pjsip for the extensions and get the features you want.

And finally, if you are looking for someone to pay for help, you can click the support link at the top.
