WebRTC behind firewall

Is it possible to use the WebRTC phones in UCP on an asterisk machine which is not visible from the internet? So i can’t use letsencrypt and i cant generate a self-signed certificate due to this bug: http://issues.freepbx.org/browse/FREEPBX-12627

I don’t see the phones in UCP after enabling them. Tried Chrome 51 and Firefox 47

That bug is already resolved in the edge version of certman.

i updated certman to 13.0.25. I deleted the “default” cert which didnt had a hostname and then created a new one. I added a user to a group which has webrtc enabled and the new certificate selected. When i login to ucp with that user, it shows “connecting …” and then this message disappears.

Everything you’ve stated is normal.

So i cant use the ucp webrtc phone? Why?

You’ve given no debug nor have you explained what you mean by that.

I found my mistake. I didnt set the user’s primary extension in user management. As i am lazy, i ask for an improvement: http://issues.freepbx.org/browse/FREEPBX-12642
