Over the last month or so I have noticed our FreePBX system showing the alerts “VPN Cert Expiry Alert” and “CERT_DAYS_VAL has been changed. You have to rebuild the VPN certificates.”.
We currently do not utilize VPN with our phone system in any form. No clients are setup under System Admin > VPN Server. Under VPN Server settings we have the following set:
Enabled = No
Auto Renew = Yes
Routes Enabled = No for all
I have tried turning auto renew off but that doesn’t help along with restarting the system. Even deleting the alerts causes them to come back within minutes.
Any ideas how to get these messages to stop?
