Voicemail user portal not able to move files (looking for WAV)

the message at the top of the page says -

Voicemail recording(s) was not found.
On settings page, change voicemail audio format. It is currently set to .WAV

But when I look in the voicemail setup it says it is set to “wav”. I see “wav” files in the spool directory.

Am I missing a setting?

Nevermind - found the user portal setting for that user somehow came up as WAV as default. I have set it to “wav” and all works OK now.

Does the user portal file setting change what gets recorded for a particular extension?
