Voicemail Plays 1 second

Hi,

I am stumped because when the voicemail is supposed to play and then record the voicemail, the FREEPBX does this:

  1. no answer
  2. voicemail picks up the call
  3. plays the default voicemail greeting…for ONLY 1 second then cuts or hangs up the call.

This situation happens intermittently – about 50% of the time, voicemail works perfectly. the other 50%, voicemail exhibits the situation above.

Please help me.

What codecs are you allowing?

I’m allowing alaw,ulaw,g729.
