VoiceMail Not Responding to Internal DTMF

Running FreePBX 12.0.38 with Voicemail module 12.0.31.

I recently added a new user with a Voice Mailbox. When dialing into the mailbox internally, DTMF tones are not be recognized, so user cannot log into mailbox, much less check messages.

If we dial into voicemail externally, all works fine.

Anyone have any clues?

What if you call that voicemail from the internal extension, and try to leave a message. Can you hear yourself on the message? Or better yet, can you run an echo test? I had issues similar to this when having one-way audio issues on certain extensions.

I’ll have to try that.

I did learn that another user who has had a mailbox forever, has not been able to access his voicemail internally either. I don’t know how long he has had problems since he didn’t let me know when the problem started for him.

I’m going to have to also try to call different extensions. This server is in a shared office building, so all the users belong to different companies. They don’t really call each other.
