Voicemail help

I have a fresh install of FreePBX over Asterisk and I’ve got a problem with Voicemail (a few actually but this is the biggest by far).

When a person calls from an outside line and gets routed through an inbound route to an extension that’s unavailable they get sent to voice-mail fine. When, say, extension 802 calls extension 803, they get a “Your call cannot be completed as dialed” recording. When 802 calls *803, they’re dumped straight into voice-mail like they should be.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Oh and it’d also seem that VM is ignoring the ring-time settings, both the default and the extension specific setting.
