Hello, i am totally new to freepbx/asterisks…
I have uploaded several recordings that i want to use in voicemail boxes. Can anyone tell me how to do this? I have figured out how to configure IVRs and add a default greeting but now i need to add individual voicemails. Please let me know how to do this?

i fix this issue by following:

only thing is chown needs to be ran in the directory where the changes were made. i used mp3 instead of wav and it worked like a champ
cd /var/spool/asterisk/voicemail/default/
chown -R asterisk:asterisk *.wav
