Hello all, I’m a little confused about the state of the voicemail configuration files and I’m hoping someone can explain things. This is FreePBX 2.8 and Asterisk 1.62, via PiaF.
I assume Asterisk uses voicemail.conf to configure itself. Where do vm_general.inc and vm_email.inc get processed from? They’re not included anywhere so it seems like they are completely ignored.
There’s also a minivm.conf, is this system used at all?
Finally, if I’m right about the .inc files not being used, can I edit the voicemail.conf file without my changes being overwritten? And has this changed from Asterisk 1.4? This is our first kick at 1.6.
