I am unable to delete the recorded name for voicemail in the voicemail administration. The system is running Ubuntu 12.04 and FreePBX 2.10. I have confirmed this with multiple voicemail accounts. I am able to delete voicemail messages. The ownership of the greet.wav files are asterisk:asterisk with -rw-rw---- permissions.
After login , navigate to this folder
/var/spool/asterisk/voicemail/
Navigate to the extension where you want to delete the voicemail. Then delete the file you want to…
