I am trying to relay emails using a windows server 2008 email relay server. It is working anything with a from address of [email protected] is sending emails to our Exchange online email server.
Well in order for the companies PBX to send these emails it needs to appear from [email protected] as well. So in the voicemail module I changed the serveremail line to that email address. However I think my snag is that the fromstring is adding a name to the email as well. All of my other printers and services just have the email address in the from field and don’t send the name. So I was wondering if anyone knew how to eliminate the fromstring from sending within the voicemail email. So that it will relay these emails.
