Hi folks, my first post here, so bear with me. I have had a quick search through various threads, but ended up more confused than before I started!
Here’s my setup so far:
I have 4 Cisco 7940’s and 2 Cisco 7912’s on the pbx. The 7940’s and the 7912’s are in separate ringall groups. The 7940’s group goes to the 7912’s if nobody answers them, after that it goes to voice mail. The 7940’s all share a common mailbox which is a virtual extension, however one of them also has it’s own mail box.
I need to have the 7940’s access the common mailbox without being prompted for a password or mailbox number and somehow still be able to choose which mailbox to go to from the handset that has it’s own mail box.
The MWI indicator seems to work fine, it lights whenever there are messages waiting, however it is only lit steady. I would like to make this flash rather than just be static.
Is any of this feasible? If so, some clear instructions would be very welcome
