I have a virtual extension and a file I want to upload to use as the greeting.

Once the Voicemail is activated, you can use WinSCP to connect to the PBX and browse to /var/spool/asterisk/voicemail/default/YOUR-V-EXT
If you want it should be the unavailable Voicemail, set the audio to unavail.wav 8000hz 16bit Mono
Copy it to that path.
Reload the PBX
perfect I see that wav file.
Next question: What is the command to get the wav file on my desktop or after I upload it to system recording to that extension folder
