Connected a Vega 50 FXO gateway to a FreePBX. Inbound and outbound work well, but one issue. If inbound call is answered during the CO ring cycle, person answering call on FreePBX hears burst of ring generator before audio is cut through.
Sounds suspiciosy like “glare” , adjust the order of your FXO’s behaviour in both the gateway and Asterisk
