Hi everybody
I had been unable to find any /var/log/asterisk/full in Asterisk 1.8.11. Do I need to create it? If yes, how?
Thanks for your help.
it is started and logged to if you have an entry like:-
full => dtmf,notice,warning,error,debug,verbose
in your /etc/asterisk/logger.conf or included file. Issue a
logger reload
to set. you can edit the logfile entries to suit.
I’ve added the entry in /etc/asterisk/logger.conf and now everything is alright. Thank you very much, dicko.
The new and improved way of doing it in v2.11b2.x is to delete /etc/asterisk/logger.conf and install the Asterisk logfiles module. After that you can configure logging via the GUI>Settings>Asterisk Logfile settings
Thanks TM1000 for this nice enhancement.

I’ve already noticed that but I wasn’t sure. Thanx for this confirmation, mustardman.
