I have a FreePBX install with Sangoma handsets, all handsets use EPM and VPN in. For some reason after updating the modules those handsets are no longer connecting to the server.
I can see on the Admin GUI that the VPN is connected, but under users it just says 4 out of 4 online (these for are some manually configured phones). We have over 30 Sangoma extensions that don’t seem to appear.
I also occasionaly get a red bar at the top with a undefined message. I suspect one of modules hasn’t updated correctly, but i’m unsure.
EDIT: By the looks of it, the VPN isn’t connecting for the other Sangoma phones but it is for the other handsets that are manually set, not using EPM.
I’ve just found the firmware version elsewhere. I’m guessing im 2.0.4.44 then, how do i downgrade to 2.0.4.43 and what issue is there with 43 that causes this issue?
The solution is a firmware downgrade, it has nothing to do with EPM or sysadmin. If you need assistance with downgrading, open a phone hardware support ticket: https://support.sangoma.com/
Also what is the actual issue, is it a bug in post 43 firmwares? It’s a bit worrying as 2.0.4.48 is out now, yet i’m being asked to downgrade to 2.0.4.43 and yet i can’t find any mention of the issue online.
I’m not 100% this is a firmware issue, i mean when i look at the dashboard i get the below.
We have 41 users and yet only 8 show (4 online and 4 offline). I still think there could be an issue with a module update somewhere because it should show the 33 users as offline?
