Use of wildcards in IVR


I’m setting up a FreePBX system offering an IVR. I just wonder if it is somehow possible to use wildcards.

The caller should enter his customers number, but for the next step only the first digit is relevant.
What I want is to set something like


or whatever, I think you know what I mean :slight_smile:

Actually it is possible to use wildcards, the sheme is the following:


If I edit the extensions_additional.conf manually it works as it should.
Unfortunately FreePBX does not allow me to enter such a string.

add the feature request to the ticket tracker so the request does not get lost.
