Use Incoming Route instead of matching extension

I’ve got a PRI trunk passing 4 digits in as DID. I have some legacy extensions that match incoming DIDs. Calls are getting passed directly to the extension, instead of using the route that should have matched a wildcard route (e.g. x5411 and route _411).

In cases where the matched incoming route are unique, there’s no problem with routing.

Is there a way to calls to follow the incoming route, instead of just getting handed off to a matching extension?

FreePBX 2.11.0.11
Asterisk 11.2

Ah ha! …I’ll just have my provider send 7 DID digits, which won’t match anything.

What do you mean by legacy extensions? Are you sending the PRI data to two separate PBX’s?

I just mean old extensions who’s 4 digit extensions match the last 4 of our DID block.
