newbie question here.
I installed *@h 2.8 a month or so ago, and it is working.
I noticed that it has FreePBX V 2.0.1. and that there is a V 2.1.1 on the FreePBX site.
Can this be upgraded? How to do so, any instructions for upgrade somewhere? and would there be any issues with breaking something that is currently not broken?
Upgrades are easy. Grab the latest tarball from the download site and extract it. Within the newly extracted directory there is a file called “install_amp.sh”. Run that. It will detect that you’ve got a previous version install and will upgrade everything accordingly.
Actually, I think i have them on the mend at this point… I just didnt know I had to go to the online mods and update each one b4 it would show at what it is and work instead of showing as broken and unknown.
Thanks again, big help, us newbies would be totally lost without all you pro’s
