Upgrade 2.6 to 2.7 from a script

hello,

I have a script to update the modules using module_admin command. But I don’t know how to upgrade from diferents versions.

how can I start the upgrade proces from a script? like when I push the upgrade button in the web.

change the base version in the database to 2.7.0alpha0 and then module_admin will start to pickup from the 2.7 repository.

is the same syntax for all new versions? upgrading from 2.5 to 2.6 can I use “2.6.0alpha0”?
