Upgrade 13 to 14 previous install was 32bit

I have just run the upgarde script to upgrade from 13 to 14 but have to do it manually as it was installed from a Distro.

Current version is
PBX Firmware:10.13.66-22
PBX Service Pack:1.0.0.0

Downloaded the upgrade and ran it, comes up saying that i am running a 32bit version and stops.

Checked motherboard and it can run 64 bit

[root@localhost ~]# lscpu
Architecture: i686
CPU op-mode(s): 32-bit, 64-bit
Byte Order: Little Endian
CPU(s): 4
On-line CPU(s) list: 0-3
Thread(s) per core: 2
Core(s) per socket: 2
Socket(s): 1
Vendor ID: GenuineIntel
CPU family: 6
Model: 28

CPU MHz: 1799.985
BogoMIPS: 3599.97
L1d cache: 24K
L1i cache: 32K
L2 cache: 512K

Is it a complete new install to change over ?

Hi!

For this specific situation it won’t be an in-place upgrade… You will need to do something like backup in 32-bit and restore in 64-bit then upgrade to FreePBX 14/Sangoma 7.

Re: Upgrade 13 to 14?

Keep in mind that the distro upgrade “script” is currently beta.

Good luck and have a nice day!

Thanks for that, will put it on hold for the time being

I doubt that an upgrade from 32-bit to 64-bit will ever work.

You and I are probably just going to have to bite the bullet and upgrade by hand. CSV files of everything you can find coupled with screen shots of everything else if the route I’m probably going to start down.
