Updates may have broken cdr reports

#1

I recently updated 3 of my pbx servers using module admin, and included in those updates were cdr, and ucp.
After the updates and reload my cdr reports no longer show caller id information other then the numbers dialed
both outside and inside. Is there anything I can do to get cdr reports working again.

FreePBX 13.0.169

| ucp | 13.0.40
| ucpnode | 13.0.31
| cdr | 13.0.29.6

#2

Just a followup to this thread, I installed the latest updates today Wednesday 09/07/2016 and they included cdr, and ucp updates. Neither update corrected the issues that I am having. It would be nice to see a name back in the cdr report page and not just tel numbers and extension numbers.

thanks.

You have no names because your cid lookup is failing. This has nothing to do with CDR reports

I can confirm that the caller ID name is no longer showing after the updates in the last few days. The CID look may or may not be failing, but the updates did cause this to stop showing the CID name information. Confirmed on multiple servers.

You need to look at your cid source. There’s not enough information to go on.

I have no idea what this means.

This also includes internal extension names. they do not list in the report as well, since the updates.

A snippit from our logs

I can narrow down the exact day (September 2nd) and confirm this on 3 different servers. On this day, half of my CDR’s include the caller name info, and after the updates, the rest of the day the CID name and Extension names are missing.

(Andrew Nagy) #12

core v13.0.112

#13

I want to also point out, odd as this is, If you ask for an exported csv file instead of displaying it in the gui you get your cid names as you would expect from the GUI

(Andrew Nagy) #14

You get them in the CLID column, We look at the (FreePBX only) CNAM and CNUM columns, which were unfortunately not populated because of a bug

#15

The update to core appears to have fixed it

Confirmed on all 4 deployments under my care.

Thank you.

Same problem faced on FreePBX 14.0.5.25, CDR Reports 14.0.5.16.
Sometimes showed name+number sometimes only number, in asteriskcdrdb.clid always name+number.
Any suggestions ?![cdr-callerid|690x256]
