If I try to upgrade my FreePBX 15.0.16.75 via automatic GUI updates or via the console I get the following error all the time:
Could not retrieve mirrorlist http://mirrorlist.sangoma.net/?release=7&arch=x86_64&repo=os&dist=$dist&staging=$staging error was
12: Timeout on http://mirrorlist.sangoma.net/?release=7&arch=x86_64&repo=os&dist=$dist&staging=$staging: (28, ‘Operation too slow. Less than 1000 bytes/sec transferred the last 30 seconds’)
I already tried to restart the system, without success.
What can be done to get the updates working again?
Thanks,
Thomas

I updated 3 systems today, form the command line, with no issues.
Why don’t you try and verify connectivity to the mirrors from your location.

When I try to connect to “http://mirrorlist.sangoma.net/?release=7&arch=x86_64&repo=os&dist=$dist&staging=$staging” via a webbrowser or wget I receive the URL “http://sng7.com/os/7.8/os/x86_64/”, but if I try to connect to this URL there is a Error 403 “Forbidden”. So it seems that the Sangoma server is blocking my request.

I found the root cause of the problem: A new IPS (Intrusion Prevention System) blocked the access to the Sangoma update servers.
