Unable to send email for voicemail due to blank recipient

When I tail maillog, I constantly see this failure message:

Aug 6 08:09:01 pbx postfix/sendmail[10413]: fatal: Recipient addresses must be specified on the command line or via the -t option

However, I can test successfully with invoking sendmail from the command prompt, and my user has a (what I believe to be) correctly configured email address in their extension settings:

Not sure what I’m missing here, and appreciative for help and suggestions.

EDIT: should’ve included, fpbx 15.0.17.43

Are you using a custom script to send email? What do you have under:

Settings -> VM Admin, Settings tab, Email Config tab, Mail Command

on a stock system that field would be empty.

Well, I got this straight from the Sangoma website, but my Mail command is filled in as “/usr/sbin/sendmail” which I believe is the postfix sendmail replacement if I’m not mistaken, but I might have misread that.

For context, I did not fill this value in; it was like this from the day I installed it.

On a whim, I decided to remove the entry and it seems to be working fine now. Curious how it got there and why it was not working as expected, but appreciate the point in the right direction @lgaetz
