Unable to pause call recording infreepbx12

I I read that FreePbx 12 had some enhanced call recording options. Mainly the ability to pause a recording.
Does anyone have experience getting this to work?

I followed this example very closely. My calls did not pause.

From freepbx website.

Let’s walk through an example call flow:

Call Comes in via Inbound Route that has Call Recording set to 'Yes'.
The recording filename is generated, and recording is started.
That inbound route sends the call to a Queue. The queue has Call Recording set to 'Don't Care'.
Nothing changes. Don't care doesn't try to change anything.
The queue is answered by an operator who has their 'Inbound External Calls' set to 'No'
Call recording is not paused. No and Yes are of equal priority, and we were already told to record the call via the Inbound Route.
The operator dials *1
Call recording is paused.
Operator transfers that call to a Ring Group that has Call Recording set to 'Force'.
Call recording is started again.
Ring Group call is answered by an operator who has 'Never'.
Call recording is paused.
Operator dials *1
Call recording does not start, as recording is blocked by Never

So,
extension has one touch recording enabled.
I set my inbound route to record with "yes."
Set queue to "Don’t care."
Set extension’s inbound external to "no."
Pressed *1 during call…

Placed test calls and everything was recorded. Tried both FreePBX12 distro and IncrediblePbx 13.2

What do the call logs show when you make a call and test the recording functions?
