so just a quick rundown my companies experimenting with cheaper phone options for a client of ours and we have been slowing building and testing our own pbx as a way of capturing the phones sales ourselves. so far, we have managed to deploy freepbx 15 on and azure based ubuntu server. Everything checks out as far as we can tell and we have got the trunk added to the server and recognized. for testing purposes, we started with a bria softphone to before moving on the real hardware. the problems come from the line itself, we can’t seem to get bria to connect and authenticate to the user from the server and are just stumped after much trial and error with the outgoing and inbound line settings. any help or comments would be appreciated it’s a big learning experience and I’ll be happy to test out what ever suggestions you guys can come up with

I assume (based on your language settings) that you are in Australia and this call to Italy is unrelated to your testing, likely an attempted attack from an automated tool.
FreePBX requires that Asterisk be built with the Macro module, which your setup does not have.
I recommend that as a beginner, you install the FreePBX Distro. Installing an ISO on Azure it a bit tricky, though you can find online instructions for doing so. Alternatively, if you are not married to Azure, host the VM on Vultr or another cloud provider that offers direct support for ISO installs.
