Unable to connect to Asterisk after upgrading from fpbx 10.13.66 to SNG7

Hi,
I just upgraded my freepbx box using the instructions from a post in this forum
titled upgrading 10.13.66 to SNG7.

After the upgrade finished I could not access my GUI using a web browser I followed the instructions on the bottom of the page to troubleshoot using the wget command (site wont let me post because it has a link in the command.)
This did not help the situation and now when I login to the system and try to run ‘fwconsole start’ I get the following:

I’ve read different posts on this forum concerning the same issue and still haven’t found an answer.
Any help would be much appreciated!!

Check the asterisk log at /var/log/asterisk

The current logfile is called full, the older logs have the date on the name after full

I looked through the current logfile and this is error came up:
[2020-12-14 12:43:45] NOTICE[1607] manager.c: 127.0.0.1 failed to authenticate as ‘admin’

How do I fix this?

I made a full backup before I did the upgrade. Would it just be faster to reinstall freepbx and then restore the backup?

You need to enter the correct AMI password on FreePBX’s advanced settings page

I’ve seen it a couple of times, most of the times you just need to go to the advanced settings page, click submit and then it’ll work fine.

I can’t access the fpbx page since the upgrade. The only access I have is through ssh in to a command shell.

I’ve tried a couple of different browsers and each time I get ‘page can’t be displayed’ http 500 error. I would then ssh in to a shell and issue a fwconsole start command and I’ve stated in the first post the console won’t open and an error states ‘unable to connect to Asterisk.’
