UCP Voicemail playback & notification

FreePBX: 15.0.16.42.1

In the UCP, if I have notifications enabled, it constantly pops up a “You have a new voicemail” about every 7 seconds. I have set the “Display Notifications” to OFF and seems to work but if I re-enable, the notifications start back up.

Another issue - when doing voicemail playback in UCP, it will download the OGG file (I confirm this via the DevTools Network and will start playback until I get a “about:blank (failed) media” error and it stops my playback. On the console it shows an error of “GET about:blank net::ERR_UNKNOWN_URL_SCHEME”. This is the same for both http (port 8888) and https (port 443) connections. I tested across multiple browsers/computers and still have the same error (to rule out extension interference or a chrome specific error). If I disable “Auto Refresh” in the UCP voicemail settings the audio does appear to playback properly.

I suspect there is a common underlying problem where the UCP thinks I have new voicemails which is causing the notification pop-ups as well as the audio playback stopping (I saw this issue in another thread but without resolution).Hope someone can point me in the right direction on how to get this fixed. Thanks!

I would make sure all modules are up to date.
If so, this sounds like a bug and might need to be brought up at https://issues.freepbx.org/
