Okay. Had a client request the capability of SMS texting. Lucien Wilcox @ tech support has been helping me out getting the SIPSTATION portion working. Thanks Lucien.
So I can send texts OUT using the UCP SMS conversation window. But, the conversation widget is not interactive. I mean by that if someone responds back with a SMS text, or has send an initial SMS text to the DID, it does not update in the UCP SMS Conversation window.
If I open and close the Conversation History widget, the inbound texts appear. But this is pain in the butt to have a conversation with. Any suggestions?
Also, are there other toolsets within FreePBX (e.g. Zulu, iSymphony, others) that work interactively with SMS?
