Trying to use Alert Info Field in Inbound routes

But I do not know what to set in the box to make it work.

I tried multible things without success. Also tried searching Google and forums, and I did not find something clear on the Alert Info field directly in FreePBX, as I do not want to set it in text config files.


All depends on the endpoint (phone, ATA, Intercom etc) you are using. It will be in your device documentation.

It is used to signal distinctive ringing with the format:

Where x is an integer. You’ll have to check endpoint to see what it responds to. Some phones respond only to 1 to 4. Each gives a different ringing sound.
