Are you able to change OpenVPN Subnet ip to 10.8.0.x/24 how to @dobrosavljevic recommended.
Tried to connect via OpenVPN client but that doesn’t seem to be working either

No, not on the same network. The FreePBX is installed on a Vultr cloud sever
All modules are up to date
Hold on… Normally you should see at OS level additional NIC like eno1 / eno2 and tun0 for OpenVPN interface. could you pls check it TUN0 is there.

That fixed it!! I added another network adapter and bang it registered!!
